The Red Trait
There are some things in life that we might not have the chance to learn, and there are somethings that everyone will learn. Courage is one of the traits you'll learn as a human. I don't think people are born with courage, since everyone has a different amount of courage. Example, in Ancient Greek we all know that Spartans and Athenians are two totally different types of citizens. Spartans must have more courage than Athenians. Why? Spartans are being trained to fight, and in order to face your enemies on the battle field you need a large amount of courage. On the other hand, Athenians focus on literature and art. This doesn't mean that Athenians don't have courage. Let's take another example. Women in the past didn't have the courage to stand up for their own rights, there was but only a few. Now, women can vote and do the same jobs as men. Education and media has influence women to gain more courage. This shows that courage is build up after time. If life started out as a pure white canvas, then the traits, talents, and education you have will be the different color. Courage will be red, since red is a bright and outstanding color just like courage.

Your blogpost grabbed my interest just from the title! I do agree that courage is something you can develop. I especially liked how you gave examples of the past to support you idea, which was distinct from other posts. Lastly I liked how you ended the post with a metaphor and symbolized courage as red which helped me understand what the title meant. Overall your post was terrific!
